Curved posts and columns are the most practical and popular structures for street lighting.
They are made in accordance with regulation UNE EN 40-5, in a truncated cone shape with a circular cross-section, and are made of carbon steel sheet metal S 235 JR or higher, in compliance with regulation UNE EN 10025.
They undergo a galvanising process through immersion in molten zinc, complying with UNE EN ISO 1461, at our own plant, thereby guaranteeing a minimum coating thickness of 65 microns, both inside and out, to ensure the structure is fully protected against corrosion.
As an optional extra the finish can include a coating of a two-component phospho-chromate primer and two coats of coloured synthetic enamel chosen from the RAL colour chart.
The size of the structures can vary considerably, depending on whether they are standard or specific designs. We can supply one-piece truncated cone shafts from 2 to 14 m long. Polygonal designs can be made up to 40 m long.
The Technical Department at Industrias Jovir develops its own innovative designs and collaborates in the design and production of projects created by public bodies, engineers and architects.
